University Hospital of North Norway

We have hospitals in Tromsø, Harstad, Narvik and Longyearbyen in Svalbard/Spitsbergen. We also have psychiatric care and substance abuse treatment in Åsgård in Tromsø, in Harstad, in Narvik and in several other places in Troms and the Narvik area.

UNN Tromsø is located in Breivika, about 4 kilometers north of the city centre in Tromsø. The hospital serves as university hospital for Northern Norway as well as a regional and local hospital.

UNN Harstad is located in St Olavs street, just a short way above the city centre. The hospital serves as local hospital for the population in the southern part of Troms county.

Narvik

UNN Narvik is located in Frydenlund, about a kilometre vest of the city centre. The hospital serves as local hospital for the population in the Ofoten region around Narvik and parts of Mid-Troms.

Longyearbyen (Svalbard)

The hospital is located centrally in Longyearbyen. The hospital provides both primary care and specialist health services to the population and visitors to Svalbard. There is free parking by the hospital.

Psychiatric care and substance abuse treatment

Our main treatment centre for psychiatric illness and substance abuse is at Åsgård on the west side of Tromsø. We also have psychiatric and substance abuse treatment in Harstad, Narvik and several other locations in Troms and the northern part of Nordland.
