Røntgen av skjelettet

Røntgen av skjelettet gir bilder av en eller flere knokler eller ledd. Undersøkelsen brukes for å avdekke skader, slitasje eller sykdom i og rundt beinvevet. Skjelettrøntgen benyttes også ofte til kontroller av innopererte proteser, tidligere brudd, eller kjente forandringer i skjelettet.

Før

Det er som regel ingen spesielle førebuingar før denne undersøkinga. Dersom du ønsker det, kan du ha med deg ein pårørande inn i røntgenrommet. 

Dersom du er gravid, må du kontakte oss i god tid før undersøkinga. 

Under

Du blir henta på venterommet av ein radiograf. Når du kjem inn på røntgenrommet, vil du bli beden om å ta av deg klede og fjerne metallgjenstandar, som belte og smykkar, frå på den delen av kroppen som skal undersøkast. 

Røntgenbilda blir tatte enten mens du står eller ligg på ein benk. Radiografen forklarer deg korleis du skal stå eller ligge, og ofte blir det tatt bilde i fleire ulike stillingar. 

Det er viktig at du held deg heilt i ro mens bilda blir tatte. Sjølve bildeopptaket går raskt og er smertefritt. 

Når undersøkinga er ferdig, kan du kle på deg og forlate avdelinga. 

Etter

Svaret på undersøkinga blir sendt til legen eller helsepersonellet som har tilvist deg. Du får svar og informasjon om eventuell vidare oppfølging eller kontroll hos den som tilviste deg.

    By Bus

    If you are coming to Breivika from Tromsø city centre, the easiest option is to take bus number 20 or 21 from Fredrik Langes gate. This bus journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

    When you enter through the main entrance from the bus stop, you will be in wing A, level 6. The reception is located to your right.

    Are you coming from Narvik?

    The Health Express runs from Narvik to Tromsø. Individuals who have been referred for travel due to health reasons can use the Health Express.

    Otherwise, there is a regular bus service. Take regional bus 100. It is recommended to use the journey planner for Troms County Traffic (Svipper). 

    Are you arriving by express boat?

    There is a bus from the harbour terminal. Bus number 21 departs at approximately 10:18.

    From the Airport

    It is recommended to use the journey planner for Troms County Traffic (Svipper). Search for Tromsø Airport and UNN to receive travel suggestions.

    If you are travelling from Tromsø, it is easiest to purchase a ticket via Svipper.

    By Taxi

    You can also take a taxi if you have arranged this with Patient Travel. The taxi stops outside the main entrance.

    Patients and relatives should use the main entrance. Parking is available above the hospital or directly north of the clinical PET centre (green building).

    If you have received treatment, you can apply for financial support for your journey. If you require arranged transport to attend treatment, you may be entitled to a requisitioned travel.

    The hospital café Evert is located in wing C, level 3. You can also go to wing D and take the lift to level 3. The hospital café Evert is open for both patients and staff from 9 am to 3 pm. There you can purchase hot and cold food and drinks. The café has plenty of seating.

    At the main entrance in wing A, level 6, there is a Narvesen kiosk. Turn right when you enter the main entrance, or left in the vestibule if you are coming from one of the departments.

    In the kiosk, you can purchase simple kiosk food, drinks, and reading material. The kiosk also offers betting.

    ​​Kulturseksjonen i UNN arrangerer jevnlig lunsjkonserter på Pingvinen Scene ved hovedinngangen. Konsertene starter som regel klokka 1130. Informasjon om hvem som spiller henger i heisene. 

    Musikk er også helse, og med jevne mellomrom arrangeres det ”musikkvandring” i sykehuset. Ta kontakt med sykepleier på avdelinga dersom du er innlagt hos oss og ønsker besøk av musikerne våre. 

    Hvert år før jul arrangerer kulturseksjonen julemesse på plan 6 og 7 ved hovedinngangen.​​

    We have several guest parking areas near the hospital.

    The parking by the emergency clinic is for emergency patients, those in labour, and those attending mammography.

    Due to environmental considerations, high traffic volume, and limited parking spaces, we recommend using public transport where possible.

    21:00-07:00: 7 NOK per hour

    Long-term guest parking:

    To achieve this price, payment/reservation must be made at the parking machine.

    Parking for disabled individuals is free both in reserved disabled spaces and in regular guest parking spaces.

    Bicycle Parking:

    Visitors can use all bicycle parking around the hospital. If you want parking near the main entrance, it is most practical to use:

    • spaces on the bicycle rack between the clinical PET centre (green building)  and the university
    • the bicycle shed just north of the clinical PET centre (green building).

    The entrance to the Penguin Hotel at UNN Tromsø is through the hospital's main entrance at A6. You can check in at the hotel reception upon arrival. There is always someone available to welcome you. The hotel is open 24 hours a day.

    The maternity hotel is part of the Penguin Hotel. The rooms are equipped with changing tables. The maternity hotel has midwives available for added security for the new family.

    There is a TV and internet access in all hotel rooms.

    Breakfast is included in the room rate. Lunch, dinner, and evening meals are available for purchase in the hotel restaurant according to the current opening hours for those who do not have all meals included.

    Parking spaces are available for a fee in marked areas outside the hospital. We have limited parking available and encourage those who can to use public transport. Bus route 20 runs from Tromsø city centre to UNN, and the journey takes 10-15 minutes.

    Vardesenteret

    Vardesenteret er et samarbeid mellom UNN og Kreftforeningen, og er en møteplass for kreftsyke, pårørende og etterlatte. Her treffer du ansatte fra Kreftforeningen og UNN, samt frivillige og likemenn. 

    Vardesenteret er tilknyttet UNN i Breivika og befinner seg i E-fløya. For å komme dit må du først til plan 2, fløy D. Følg skiltene derfra. Er du usikker kan du spørre en frivillig sykehustvert som er kledd i rød vest.

    Pusterommet ved UNN Tromsø er et trenings- og aktivitetssenter for kreftpasienter ved spesialisthelsetjenesten.  Her tilbys persontilpasset trening før, under og etter kreftbehandling.

    The hospital in Harstad is located at St Olavs gate 70, directly opposite the town centre.

    On foot

    If you choose to walk, you can reach the hospital in about 15 minutes. Please note that Harstadgårdsveien can feel both long and steep if you have difficulty walking.

    Bus and express boat

    If you are coming to the hospital from Harstad town centre (from Harstad city terminal), the easiest options are:

    • Bus number 11 towards Samamoa (if you take route 11 towards Gansås, you will need to walk up Gamle kirkevei, which is steep).
    • Bus number 15 towards Fagerlia

    Both bus routes depart from the closest busstop  (turn right when coming from the Harstad express boat quay).

    It is recommended to use the journey planner from Troms County Traffic (Svipper). The information in the journey planner is always up to date.

    Café Solan is located on the ground floor and is open to staff, patients, and visitors. The café is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 15:00.

    Self-service is arranged for admitted patients.

    Meals are served from a buffet for those patients who prefer their meals served in a different manner than on a tray by the bed. The buffet is based on self-service and is tailored for dietary needs for those who require it. Patients can help themselves to food in a new staffed café, and they receive good assistance from a host if they are unable to bring the food to the table.

    Narvesen has a kiosk at the entrance on the ground floor.

    Transport

    The hospital is located at Stasjonsveien 61, approximately three kilometres north of the centre. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the centre.

    If you arrive in Narvik by the airport bus from Evenes, you can either walk or take a taxi to the hospital. The Health Express has a start and stop at the hospital on Furumoen. Remember that travel expenses must be agreed upon in advance with Patient Travel.

    The tunnel from the E6 (Furumotunellen) is the main access road to the hospital.

    There are established footpaths through Narvik Cemetery and up to the hospital, in addition to pavements along Stasjonsveien.

    Public Transport

    Several new bus services have been established to the new hospital on Furumoen.

    It is recommended to use the journey planner and search for routes to/from UNN Narvik. The information in the journey planner is always up to date.

    If you are travelling from Harstad, it is easiest to purchase a ticket via Nordlandstrafikk's app Reis

    Patients and relatives who rely on a car to Furumoen can park in the public parking area outside the main entrance. Additionally, there are some public parking spaces outside the main entrance to Furumoen nursing home and outside the emergency reception/urgent care.

    Due to high demand, it is encouraged to use the bus to and from Furumoen. Good bus connections have been established by Reis Nordland; check the route planner.

    There are disabled parking spaces at the main entrance (maximum 4 hours), in the main parking area, at Furumoen nursing home, and at the emergency reception/urgent care.
    Remember to display the blue parking permit clearly in the front window.
