Hjerte-, lunge- og karkirurgisk avdeling

Hjerte-, lunge- og karkirurgisk avdeling består av sengepost, klinisk karlaboratorium, operasjonsenhet og poliklinikk. Avdelingen har det eneste hjertekirurgiske tilbudet i landsdelen.

Ansatte ved avdelingen

I tillegg til planlagte innleggelser mottar vi et betydelig antall pasienter som akuttinnleggelse etter traumer eller andre akutte tilstander i hjerte-lunge-kar-systemet som trenger kirurgisk behandling. 

Vi har poliklinikk hver tirsdag som er lokalisert på hjerte-kar poliklinikken i C00. Poliklinikken bemannes av erfaren kirurg og sykepleier.

Litt om våre pasientgrupper og hvem vi behandler:

  • Hjertepasienter som har sviktende funksjon av klaffene i hjertet (stenose eller insuffisiens), og de trenger derfor å få satt inn kunstige klaffer eller de får gjort kirurgisk operasjon av klaffen. Andre pasienter har forkalkninger i kransarteriene på hjertet og får utført bypass-operasjon der vener fra beina brukes for å sikre sirkulasjon forbi de tette blodårene
  • Lungelidelser - de fleste lungeoperasjonene utføres på grunn av kreft. Det blir da fjernet en eller flere lungelapper 
  • Pneumothorax er en vanlig innleggelsesårsak og kan oppstå spontant eller etter ytre påvirkning (traume)
  • Kirurgisk behandling av fuglebryst og traktbryst
  • Åreforkalkning - operasjoner hos denne pasientgruppen går oftest ut på å fjerne forkalkninger og innsnevringer i blodårer, eller lage bypass forbi tette områder i blodårene
  • Aneurismer/utposninger på hovedpulsåren - behandles medkirurgisk innsetting av blodåreprotese eller stenting på røntgenavdelingen

I tillegg til hjerte-, lunge- og karkirurgi har avdelingen ansvaret for traumeorganiseringen  i UNN Tromsø.

Brukermedvirkning
De fleste av våre pasienter får tilsendt et spørreskjema rundt seks uker etter utskrivelsen med frankert konvolutt, som du kan sende svarene tilbake til oss i. 

Brukerundersøkelsen har vi hatt siden 2009 og den hjelper oss å finne de områder vi kan trenge å forbedre oss på, samt sier oss noe om hvor vi jobber bra. Din tilbakemelding er derfor viktig for oss!

By Bus

If you are coming to Breivika from Tromsø city centre, the easiest option is to take bus number 20 or 21 from Fredrik Langes gate. This bus journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

When you enter through the main entrance from the bus stop, you will be in wing A, level 6. The reception is located to your right.

Are you coming from Narvik?

The Health Express runs from Narvik to Tromsø. Individuals who have been referred for travel due to health reasons can use the Health Express.

Otherwise, there is a regular bus service. Take regional bus 100. It is recommended to use the journey planner for Troms County Traffic (Svipper). 

Are you arriving by express boat?

There is a bus from the harbour terminal. Bus number 21 departs at approximately 10:18.

From the Airport

It is recommended to use the journey planner for Troms County Traffic (Svipper). Search for Tromsø Airport and UNN to receive travel suggestions.

If you are travelling from Tromsø, it is easiest to purchase a ticket via Svipper.

By Taxi

You can also take a taxi if you have arranged this with Patient Travel. The taxi stops outside the main entrance.

By Private Car

Patients and relatives should use the main entrance. Parking is available above the hospital or directly north of the clinical PET centre (green building).

Patient Travel

If you have received treatment, you can apply for financial support for your journey. If you require arranged transport to attend treatment, you may be entitled to a requisitioned travel.

When You Are at the Main Entrance

As you proceed further into the hospital, you will reach wings B, C, and finally D. There are signs by the lifts indicating which wing and floor you are on (for example, B6).

​​Sykehusapotek Nord har utsalg vis a vis Narvesen-kiosken på sykehuset i Tromsø. Der får du kjøpt hygieneartikler og medisiner på e-resept. Husk legitimasjon med bilde når du skal hente legemidler på resept.​​​

Apoteket ligger i A-fløya, plan 6. Ta til høyre når du kommer inn hovedinngangen.

Du får kjøpt blomster i Narvesen-kiosken som ligger innenfor hovedinngangen, men husk på at allergikere kan få kraftige reaksjoner på blomster med kraftig duft.

Om du skal besøke noen på en sengepost kan det være lurt om du ringer til avdelinga først og sjekker om de har noen innlagt som er veldig allergiske.

Det kan uansett være lurt å sjekke besøkstidene på den avdelinga du skal til.​

The hospital café Evert is located in wing C, level 3. You can also go to wing D and take the lift to level 3. The hospital café Evert is open for both patients and staff from 9 am to 3 pm. There you can purchase hot and cold food and drinks. The café has plenty of seating.

At the main entrance in wing A, level 6, there is a Narvesen kiosk. Turn right when you enter the main entrance, or left in the vestibule if you are coming from one of the departments.

In the kiosk, you can purchase simple kiosk food, drinks, and reading material. The kiosk also offers betting.

​​Kulturseksjonen i UNN arrangerer jevnlig lunsjkonserter på Pingvinen Scene ved hovedinngangen. Konsertene starter som regel klokka 1130. Informasjon om hvem som spiller henger i heisene. 

Musikk er også helse, og med jevne mellomrom arrangeres det ”musikkvandring” i sykehuset. Ta kontakt med sykepleier på avdelinga dersom du er innlagt hos oss og ønsker besøk av musikerne våre. 

Hvert år før jul arrangerer kulturseksjonen julemesse på plan 6 og 7 ved hovedinngangen.​​

We have several guest parking areas near the hospital.

The parking by the emergency clinic is for emergency patients, those in labour, and those attending mammography.

Due to environmental considerations, high traffic volume, and limited parking spaces, we recommend using public transport where possible.

Parking Charges:

07:00-21:00: 32 NOK per hour

21:00-07:00: 7 NOK per hour

Long-term guest parking:

To achieve this price, payment/reservation must be made at the parking machine.

Maximum daily charge 250 NOK

Price from the 4th day onwards maximum 162 NOK.

Price from the 8th day onwards maximum 113 NOK.

Parking for disabled individuals is free both in reserved disabled spaces and in regular guest parking spaces.

Apcoa Flow is the app that should be used. Available in the App Store and Google Play Store. The Easy Park app can be used, but it incurs a 15% surcharge on the fee.

Motorcycles

UNN currently does not have designated parking for motorcycles for visitors or guests.

Bicycle Parking:

Visitors can use all bicycle parking around the hospital. If you want parking near the main entrance, it is most practical to use:

  • spaces on the bicycle rack between the clinical PET centre (green building)  and the university
  • the bicycle shed just north of the clinical PET centre (green building).

The entrance to the Penguin Hotel at UNN Tromsø is through the hospital's main entrance at A6. You can check in at the hotel reception upon arrival. There is always someone available to welcome you. The hotel is open 24 hours a day.

The maternity hotel is part of the Penguin Hotel. The rooms are equipped with changing tables. The maternity hotel has midwives available for added security for the new family.

There is a TV and internet access in all hotel rooms.

Meals

Breakfast is included in the room rate. Lunch, dinner, and evening meals are available for purchase in the hotel restaurant according to the current opening hours for those who do not have all meals included.

A simpler food offering is also available for purchase at the hotel reception 24 hours a day.

Narvesen has a kiosk located near the reception.

Parking

Parking spaces are available for a fee in marked areas outside the hospital. We have limited parking available and encourage those who can to use public transport. Bus route 20 runs from Tromsø city centre to UNN, and the journey takes 10-15 minutes.
